Meet our Team

Eric Addo-Mensah, ACII
Chief Executive Officer

Eric Addo Mensah is the Chief Executive Officer of the company. He studied Economics and Sociology at the University of Ghana, Legon and after his National Service at Pope John Secondary School, Koforidua left for Nigeria where he taught English and French from 1980-1985. He entered the insurance industry when a friend advised him to find something more professional to do in 1984. He enrolled as a student with the Chartered Insurance Institute London and left Nigeria for the United Kingdom to complete his insurance education. He qualified as an Associate in 1989.

Eric worked in several brokerage firms including Keywest Insurance Brokers, Safeguard Insurance Centres, Paul J Geoffrey Associates and Insurance Experts before returning home in 1995. He joined KEK Insurance Brokers that same year as a Deputy Manager. He rose to the position of Executive Director in charge of Corporate Clients. He also left in July 2007 afterwhich he joined the erstwhile Midas Insurance Company as the Chief Operating Officer until his exit in 2022.
Albert Bruce Acquah
Chief Finance Officer

Albert Bruce Acquah, whose background has been in the field of teaching graduated from the University of Cape Coast with a Bachelor of Commerce degree alongside with Diploma in Education (B. Comm, Dip Ed) in 1996. Additionally, he holds an Executive Master’s in Business Administration (EMBA) at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration-GIMPA.

He joined KEK Insurance Brokers in September 1996 as a Finance Officer and rose through the rank to Manager- Finance. His position as a Manager – Finance was what he held till his departure from the Company in May 2007. Thus, he was the Financial Controller for almost eleven years.

Albert has been with Adom Howard & Associates, and ASL Consultants – both auditing firms as audit manager. He is a member of The Institute of Chartered Accountant (ICA) Ghana.

He is the manager in charge of Finance & Administration at MDS Risk Solutions Ltd. In addition to the above, Albert serves as a Financial Consultant to numerous firms including Hydrotech Group of Companies, Mamphey Developers, Sytris Ltd, Bafla Ltd, Holiday Planners and Agya Appiah Bitters Ltd.
Cordelia Dawson Kesson, ACII
Chief Operating Officer

Cordelia Dawson-Kesson is a Chartered insurance broker and an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK. She also holds a degree of Bachelor of Education in Science and a master’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Cape Coast and the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology respectively.

Further, she pursued a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Central University and was called to the Ghana Bar in November, 2022.

Having worked for over a decade in the Insurance industry in various capacities, she has over the years gathered experience in marketing insurance products, stakeholder management, client’s portfolio management, risk assessment, advisory services, and business development.

She is responsible for the operations of the company in her position as the Chief Operating Officer. She is passionate about insurance and ensures that the clientele of the company get their money’s worth in the policies that they purchase, thus they are fit for purpose. This is geared towards providing customer satisfaction and contributing to changing the generally held negative perception about insurance in Ghana.
Paulina Baiden Aryeh
Senior Broking Officer

Paulina Ekua Adadzewa Baiden Aryeh is a student member of the Chartered Institute of Human Resource Management, Ghana. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Business Administration (Human Resource Option) and Insurance and Business Continuity from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) respectively.

Additionally, she is a holder of certificate of Proficiency from the Human Development Consultancy Services. Also, from Innovare Learning Center (Limited), she undertook several managerial courses such as Strategic Management, Thinking & Negotiations, Managerial Skills, Project Management, Organizational Behaviour & Effective Communication.

Paulina Baiden Aryeh joined Midas Insurance Brokers in 2007, as an Administrative Assistant and rose to the position of Head of underwriting Her role as the head of Underwriting made her responsible in satisfying all the stakeholders when it comes to underwriting and the selection of appropriate policies for clients. She is currently a Broking Officer at MDS Risk Solutions.
